For many years now I have been cycling the coastal and mountain roads of Tenerife
with groups of riders from Europe, which has enabled me to gather a vast amount of local knowledge from the south west of the Island through to the north east.
With varying routes from coastal to mountain, including the great challenge of Mount Teide for those of you who like to test your fitness level.

Whether in a group, a couple, or on your own it's not long before every one gets to know one another and those cycling stories start to be told.

There are many cycling routes on the Island, inland, coastal, or mountain.
With an all year round climate it's possible to cycle along the coast in the morning and then ride up into mountain in the afternoon.

A selection of amazing road rides ranging from the classic to the extraordinary and all of this delivered in style and based around the fine aspects of cycle touring, with good accommodation, superb food and fine wines Including a wide range of tours to fit every level of fitness. Along the routes of Tenerife, through the pine forests of the National park or follow the coastal roads. There are plenty to choose from.



Tenerife is one of seven Islands in the Canaries and with a wonderful all year round climate.

This means you are able to cycle 365 days of the year.

We are located in the south of the Island only 15 minutes from the Reina Sofia airport.

As many of you know having stayed in Playa de Las Americas or Los Cristianos that these are now quite heavily populated areas with an ever increasing amount of traffic on the road.
Making your way out of these areas can prove to be a little challenging some times.

By setting off from San Miguel, you are
eleviating the climb out of Las Americas and Los Cristianos,leaving you fresh to set of on your chosen route for the day.
Traffic in the countryside is very limited and the roads are of a good standard as shown in the photographs.
The routes we recommend can be previewed with ride profiles and you can view some of the statistics recorded.

Making cycling a pleasure by not having to worry about if you are on the right road or is there any unforseen climbs around the next corner.

The profile tells you all you need to know with distance ,altitude, and time taken.These are all based on my personal data, that I recorded so depending on your level of fitness, they can be improved on.

Starting your ride From San Miguel allows you to choose from a varied amount of rides,up into the mountains, through the local villages on what was once the main road to Santa Cruz, before the Motorway was constructed.This road cover over 100km, and with a good road surface and little traffic this is a very popular cyclist road,if you prefer you can go down to the coastal roads and follow these including cycling around the several golf courses on the Island through the fishing villages and along the beach fronts.Plenty of resting areas and great tapas bars.
With a warm and friendly atmosphere great food and pleasant surroundings, we are sure you will enjoy your cycling holiday with us.
